A smile is a thing
Did you know that smiles are hidden in the most unexpected places. It may be under your bed; a long forgotten shoe. A childhood book, that you read again to your children. In your garden, a sudden surge of spring.
What a beautiful thing. In your worst moments you don’t know when a smile will drop in and change the world. It happened to me yesterday. In the midst of my sadness, I stepped out to my car in a hurry to get to work. And there it was. My smile.
Clinging to the door of my car this is what I saw.
A runaway from a tree. Lost perhaps, or looking for me. To bring me a smile.
